Four adapters of only one type are included (model 23597-002, can charge model 23245-001 batteries). The charger base can be desk-mounted or wall-pounted and each charging bay has a set of indicator lights labelled "condition", "ready", "charge", "fault or condition" and "power" as well as a button labelled "press to condition". It takes power from a round 5-pin connector that connects with an included AC power adapter that takes 120V input power. How the unit was tested: When plugged in the power lights for all the bays come on. When the adapter modules are removed the "fault or condition" lights start flashing, except for the leftmost bay where the fault light did not come on when the adapter was removed - it's not known what the significance of this difference was. This unit was not used to charge any batteries.
