It is one of the finest systems available for the money and is in superb cosmetic and operating condition. This well-built system and amplifier has an enormous amount of clean power capable of crisp highs, smooth midranges and tight ample bass. At 150 Watts per channel @8 ohms this amp puts out power that will drive almost any speaker in any surrounding. There is less than 0.03% THD for distortion free sound. This amp is arguably the best value from this company. The 3003 Amp sold new for $895.00,the 3002 Pre-Amp for $995.00 and the 3011 Tuner for $595.00.Tandberg is a company known for producing superb high-end audio equipment at an affordable price point. True audiophiles have valued Tandberg products since they were first introduced to the marketplace. I encourage you to check out the reviews.I am the original owner and bought all three pieces at Audio Crafters in Washington DC in 1983. I have most of the Manuals, power cords and two of the original boxes (in OK shape), and the original receipt for the amp and pre-amp, as well as rosewood sides for all three units- all in near mint condition. Note that the tuner works exceptionally well as it has been used lightly but the tuner string feels a little worn (just time I guess). A few years back I sent the Amp to Soundsmith Authorized Tandberg Repair and had them go completely through the unit and upgrade it- it has been used sparingly since but sounds fantastic much more open and musical than originally.Because the item is an older piece of electronics, it is not under warranty and is being sold strictly "as is", but I will assure it is in near mint operating and cosmetic condition.
