The playback functions work very well, although I have not checked its recording ability. Cosmetically, it is in superb shape for a VCR from 1984.  It has no remote, but all the little doors are intact and even the little adjusting tool is in the adjustment section.   It measures 16.5” W x 14” D x 4.5” H and weights 19lbs.
