It comes with an SL-8000 Universal Remote. I have the Owner's Manual as a pdf file if wanted. It is in excellent condition with all of the level indicators working and a front door which is rare. It also shows very little use. The display is somewhat dim. This is the perfect VCR to transfer all of your old Beta tapes. Some of the features include: Playback in BI, BII and BIII. Record in BII and BIII, Sharpness Control, Hi-Fi Audio, Front Headphone Jack, Tracking Control, Record Level, MPX Filter and Tuner/Line Selector. It has a Cable Compatible Tuner, Betascan & Beta SkipScan High-Speed Picture Search. Auction contains only what is pictured. Pinch Rollers resurfaced or replaced as needed. Belts and Rubber Drive Tires are resurfaced or replaced as needed. The Reel Tables are removed to clean & adjust Brake Pads, Back Tension bands and lube all moving parts. The Tape Alignment is checked against factory specifications. The machines are tested for Playback & Record of all supported speeds. Any bent or misaligned cabinet parts are repaired to the best of my ability. The Tape Loading and Tape Threading mechanisms are checked for proper operation. The Remote Controls are cleaned and all Buttons and Switches are checked for functions. All units are tested once again just before being packed up for shipment for Playback and Record only. I have been in the repair business for 38 years. My company has been selling and repairing Audio and Video equipment for over 20 years! None of my machines are one of those "I don't have any tapes to test it with", "Worked the last time I used it" or "Tested by plugging it in". Every machine I sell is either new or has just been fully reconditioned. Also please keep in mind that if you are looking for a Beta VCR to transfer your old home movies to DVD and your tapes were made with a Super Beta recorder you will need a Super Beta machine to play them back properly. Old Beta tapes are very bad at clogging the video heads so I would also recommend a rewinder and a cleaning tape. Sorry but I do not carry them here in my repair shop but they are available here on eBay all of the time. You need them. Shipping & HandlingI will ship to the US only.
