You are bidding on a new SONY BKMW-104 HD UPCONVERTER card. This item is in immaculate condition and has never been used. We ordered this item brand new from Sony, and it is marked as a "B-Stock" unit, which they ship as new due to the extremely long wait it takes to get one of these cards. The unit has been completely inspected by Sony and is guaranteed to function as new, and is still covered by the factory 1 year warranty, starting last April. The BKMW-104 is the upconverting accessory board for the MSW and DVW families of Digital format VTRs. This board allows for Standard Definition video elements played through the decks be output to a High Definition edit platform or VTR. Allows 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i and 720/59.94p output from the playback signals of SD 1/2-inch formats(*2), including Betacam, Betacam SP, Betacam SX and Digital Betacam as well as MPEG IMX format. Outputs HD 1125 tri-level sync signal as reference signal. (*1) Either this board or BKMW-E3000 board can be installed in an MSW-2000 series VTR. (*2) Only from the playback-compatible format of the VTR used.
