In addition, it is a "Holy Grail" and a "Must Have" model for boombox collectors and lovers. This GF-1000 is 100% Japan domestic model and top line of GF-777z series. (with diamond blue VU meter and pale white woofer/driver). It equipped with 3 way 6 speakers with 6" deep bass and 6" woofer (With Speaker Grills).. Operate at AC 100V only ( no voltage selector), 10 "D" cells and 15V DC jack IN. Dimension 29.5"W 15"H 6"D (Extremely HUGE!). Features include double cassette deck, 2 band radio (AM/FM, support up to 108Mhz stations), APLD song index search, VU meter dial display with backlight, independent sub-woofer control (L/R), PHONE/AUX IN/OUT, tape dubbing, MIC MIXING IN, Radio Echo. Both antennaes are fully intacted. ALL knobs and buttons are present. Both TAPE doors need bare hand assistance to open with Eject button. (doors a bit loosely attached and does NOT affect normaly operation).  Item testing has been done and it operates NORMALLY in terms of functionality. It can pick up all the stations clearly without any problem. (Radio sound extremely LOUD). BOTH Tape deck can playback normally at correct speed & pace. FF/REW function normally at FULL STRENGTH for both TAPE. APSS works on TAPE 1 and recording for TAPE 2. AC power source is not stable and will occasionally power-off/disconnected.. belived to be contact issue of internal power socket (works PERFECTLY for DC power / battery cells). For its outlook, I'll give 7.8 out of 10. Light wears/scuff marks found on rear portion of the body. Minor painting fall-off around panel portion and right woofer cone is a bit bent..
