It has a built-in antenna, speaker and power plug so you can use it anywhere in your house, shed or garage. It can store 8-channels and is programmable using the keyboard (no crystals required). It covers the standard bands typical for an older scanner (from 27 to 512 MHz. It has a 10-digit VFD display for viewing frequencies and channels and all functions work fine. There is normal wear on the finish and it could use a cleaning but otherwise, it is okay shape.
