THIS JVC WAS PRODUCED BACK IN 1978. THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST ORIGINAL BOOMBOXES MADE. THIS BOX IS IN AMAZING SHAPE FOR BEING 30 YEARS OLD. THERE IS A FEW SMALL SCRATCHES,  BUT THIS IS A SUPER CLEAN BOX. I HAVE NOT EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO GIVE IT A GOOD CLEANING, AND IT LOOKS THIS GOOD. THERE ARE A FEW MINOR ISSUES. ONE ANTENNA IS MISSING. YOU CAN PICK ONE UP AT RADIO SHACK, OR ON EBAY FOR ABOUT 4 OR 5 DOLLARS. SOMTIMES IF THE MODE BUTTON IS NOT IN THE RIGHT PLACE, THE VOLUME ON THE LEFT SPEAKER GETS LOW, BUT YOU WOULD JUST HAVE TO MOVE THE SWITCH A LITTLE, AND IT WORKS FINE.  ALSO WHEN I WAS PLAYING A TAPE, THE TAPE STOPPED ABOUT 3 TIMES WHILE PLAYING THE TAPE ALL THE WAY THRU. I JUST PLAYED ANOTHER TAPE, AND IT DID NOT STOP ONCE. MAYBE JUST THE TAPE.  I HAVE PURCHASED AND SOLD MANY BOOMBOXES, AND BECAUSE OF THE AGE, THEY JUST NEED A GOOD CLEANING TO DO THE TRICK. THE BOX WORKS AND SOUNDS GREAT. THE 2 SMALL ISSUES ARE NOT CONSTANT, AND ONLY HAPPENED ONCE AND A WHILE.  I NEED TO COME UP WITH SOME MONEY, SO I HAVE TO LET GO OF SOME OF MY TOP PRIZED BOXES.
