THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED! - IT IS NEW IN THE ORIGINAL BOX!!!     This item is an Altec Model 311-90 High-Frequency Sectoral Horn.     Considered by audiophiles who know to be the BEST sounding large-format Altec HF horn, and prized for use in home audio systems, the Altec Model 311-90 was designed by Bill Hayes, then Head of the Altec Acoustic Lab. It's performance is legendary. Its smooth, natural-sounding performance is wonderful to listen to, and it's heavy casting and acoustic damping produce a quite, non-ringing horn that has excellent stereo imaging and non-coloration of the sound.     Designed to operate in conjunction with all Altec large-format HF drivers, the 311-90 also works well with any HF driver having an 1.4-inch aperture.     FEATURES:     * New-in-the-box!
