Up for your consideration is a beautiful Collins R-390 receiver. I had it Re-manufactured by Mr. Rick Mish of Miltronix in 2006. He very thoroughly cleaned, repaired any necessary items and aligned this beautiful R-390. Nothing went un-touched. The camera flash took a little away from the glossy, clean finish of the radio. There are no flaws in the mechanical or electrical operation of this radio. It is just wonderfull. Please look closely at the pictures and see for your self what a nice radio this is. It is part of my collection of 26 R-390xx. I am selling most of the collection as I plan to retire next year and move. I wont be able to take all of my radios with me unfortunately. I will make sure all of the tubes are tested and any that are close to weak will be replaced. Everything functions as well as it should. There are no known problems. The audio is outstanding when used with a good speaker. There is no manual with this radio though is can easily be obtained right here on eBay for a reasonable price. I am not a radio salesman. I am just thinning out the my long built collection of Collins radios.   Though fully functional and honestly described, I can offer no warranty as this radio is over 50 years old. There will be no refunds offered on this item. Please see my feedback. It is 100%  This radio will be professionally packed at the UPS store here in town. I was given an estimate of $63.00 for double boxing with foam and bubble wrap to protect the radio in transit. I also reserve the right to ship ONLY to North America, and Canada. The Collins R-390, R390-A and R389 are way to heavy to be shipped overseas.The cartons get dropped, thrown, heaved and rolled. Even with professional packing the radios can be easily damaged. I dont want the worry or responsibility of shipping overseas. Adding insurance cant stop the item from being damaged. I have been in the exporting business for almost 30 years and have seen heavy items ruined too many times.  This item will only go USA and Canada. I am sorry.
